well i guess i should start off and tell everyone, the wedding, the reception, the honeymoon... they were all PERFECT! it was more than i could have asked for and being married... is SOOOOOO FUN!!!!!!!!!!!! oh my gosh i was SOOO missing out! but still, it would not be the same with out my TAYBABY. i LOVE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok... so here is just a little scoop on us and everything.
we left friday night after the reception and headed to The Anniversary Inn in Salt Lake City... get this, on the way there... we are driving up the big hill on 89 and our car starts putting. we realized... we didnt have GAS! so seriously, i have ran out of gas before in my car and the second it putts.. its a gonner. SOMEHOW by the grace of God we made it up the huge hill and about 5 more miles to a gas station. we said a prayer and because our God is so mighty he was able to help us in this situation. and we really had faith that he could and would.. afterall, we were going to consumate our marriage. haha. ;o)
ok so we finally make it so Salt lake at about 11. ya, so much for getting there around 9. Our room was AMAZING! it was called the french canopy. I will try to explain it to you. You walk in and there is this canopy looking bed... to the front. to the right there is a huge jetted tub with a waterfall top. To top it off in the fridge, cheese cake (which was AMAZING considering we didnt eat dinner that night ;o( there was also sparkling cider. So Tay and I sat down, at the cake and toasted the whole bottle of sider. And we toasted hilarious things. We were laughing so hard! and that my friends... is all you get to hear of that night.... SORRY. but really, i should stop.
SO, the next day was interesting... because our flight didnt leave until 11:45 pm. So, we had a late checkout of 2. oh and this is pretty funny, there is a guest book of people that stayed there before and i was reading over it and it said "we had a great time celebrating our anniversary here... blah blah blah.. love the HAYWOODS, west point" i could not believe it! my cousin sundee and her husband stayed in the same room a few months ago! RANDOM. anyways, so from 2 til about ten we had to entertain ourselves. and not in a private way at all, so... we had to fill our time with food and shopping, which ya know.. im ok with that. So we went to the gateway, and guess what! you would be so proud, i didnt even buy anything! then we got lunch we went to PF changs. YUM. our waiter was amazing keep in mind, that made the day SAWEET!
Then... we ran out of thigs to do, ha so we laid a blanket on the grass and we just hung out. It really was so fun and peaceful. not a worry in the world. We had dinner and ate sushi and then FINALLY we were off for a horrible red eye flight right next to TWO screaming babies!
I slept most the way and Taylor watched the olympics. ;o) We sat next to an older man that Tay made instant friends with. (he is good at that stuff)
So... finally at 8 am we were in Florida! it was so pretty there and the highways.... are BLISS. We got a rental car, cause im 25 and i CAN. and we headed to the condo! an hour later we were there and WOW! talk about a sweet place for a honey moon! the condo was 3 floors. the garage, which doesnt really count as a floor, but hey... it was filled with cool stuff! like fishing poles, boogies boards, surf boards, and seriously, anything you can think of. The next had the kitchen and the living room and the top had 2 bedrooms and 2 baths.
We spent the days with tons of laughter, chillin on the beach, chillin with the aligators at the aligator farm! a wax museum and of course a sweet lunch with the provider of all this.. my aunt sue!!! We were there for 7 days and were sad to come back to reality.
But guess what!!!!!!!!! although we are back and in school and our lives arent as much like a fairy tail... they still are! WE ARE STILL SOOO IN LOVE! and we go to bed every night and laugh til i cry as we talk in bed. He is hilarious and i love spending all my time with him! He is my best friend and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE BEING MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THINGS ARE SO GOOD!!!!!
so... there is a scoop for everyone about what is going on. I will put some pics on here with the honey moon and reception and stuff when i figure out how to not be computer illiterate. ;o)
